GoBoat makes the water accessible to everyone, in eco-friendly, easy-to-drive style.
GoBoat started in Copenhagen in 2014, and launched in Australia in 2017. GoBoat Australia is proudly Australian owned, and we've welcomed more than 700,000 guests aboard since we launched.
We offer urban planners, governments and property developers the opportunity to revitalise under-utilised waterways with a safe, family-friendly, instagrammable experience!

ABOUT THE VESSEL
Every one of our Danish-designed picnic boats is constructed in Australia from fibreglass, which uses recycled PET bottles instead of virgin glass. Each boat is powered by a state-of-the-art electric motor direct from Germany.

The GoBoat is a state-of-the-art, Australian made vessel.
Stable, robust, and great-looking, the GoBoat gives you the best possible user experience - where the senses of freedom, wellbeing, and togetherness can be enjoyed. Designed in Europe and made right here in Australia, our boats are state-of-the-art and use recycled materials in their construction. They set the standard for marine design, including low-wash characteristics that minimise environmental disturbance.
Characterised by fine lines and rounded edges, the design enhances social gatherings and allows for interaction with the stunning surroundings. The silent engines ensure a calm atmosphere, setting the stage for an undisturbed experience.

When you rent a GoBoat, you get a unique opportunity for togetherness in diverse and beautiful surroundings. The picnic table is placed centrally with enough seating for 8 people, encouraging joyful moments with good food, drink and conversations, while the shores slowly drift by.

GOBOAT ACADEMY
Since launching in Queensland in 2024, safety and enjoyment on the water have remained at the core of our operations. Our mission is to make our beautiful waterways accessible and safe through high-quality, easy-to-follow in-house courses and practical training.
All courses are certified and approved by Maritime Safety Queensland under the BoatSafe program.
All our boats are electric, meaning they’re an eco-friendly way of exploring the water. GoBoat contributes to improving local waterways by regularly patrolling and collecting rubbish, too!
