What licence do I need?
If you want to drive a boat in Queensland with an engine over 4.5kw (about 6hp), you'll need a Recreational Marine Driver Licence (RMDL).
If you want to drive a JetSki, you'll need both an RMDL and a Personal Watercraft Licence (PWCL).
GoBoat Academy offers standalone RMDL and PWCL* courses, or bundle them together with our COMBO course to save over 30%!
*requires an existing valid RMDL.

Our pricing is designed to give flexibility around how you want to complete the course.
When you first enrol, you'll only need to pay for the online theory component up front. You can then complete the theory course online at your own pace, and pay for the practical session and assessment when you're ready.
