GoBoat is hiring! We’re Australia’s largest and fastest-growing electric boat experience company, specializing in eco-friendly adventures that make the water accessible to everyone. We’re looking for a Location Manager (Coxswain Required) to lead our team at GoBoat Gold Coast.

About the Role

As Location Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the daily operation at GoBoat Gold Coast, ensuring outstanding customer experiences while maintaining high safety and service standards. You’ll be supported by the National Operations Manager and a fantastic local team to ensure smooth sailing.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a casual crew, fostering a culture of safety, service, and efficiency.
Customer Service: Set the standard for exceptional guest briefings and demonstrations while addressing customer enquiries professionally and promptly.
Safety Oversight: Monitor and enforce safety and compliance for the fleet, troubleshoot technical issues, and respond to waterway incidents.
Fleet Management: Assist with boat docking and departures, patrol waterways in a support vessel, and ensure the fleet remains clean and well-maintained.
Business Development: Drive local awareness and customer loyalty to grow the GoBoat brand.
Operations: Complete daily administrative tasks, such as checklists and stocktakes.

What You Need to Succeed

Essential:

Coxswain 3 or Exemption 38 qualification (mandatory).
Current First Aid certificate.
Strong customer service background.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on attitude and ability to work autonomously.
Reliable transport.
Availability to work weekends.
Love for the water and enthusiasm for eco-friendly tourism.

Desirable:

Experience in marine tourism or hospitality.
Technical troubleshooting skills.
Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate a team.
