GoBoat recognised with national boating award

GOBOAT Australia has been recognised as a leading provider of innovative and sustainable boating experiences, winning the inaugural Sustainability in the Boating Industry Award from the Boating Industry Association.

The award recognises GOBOAT’s outstanding achievements in promoting environmental sustainability and responsible boating to customers, and building sustainability into their processes and products at every step.

Founder and Managing Director of GOBOAT Australia Nick Tyrrell accepted the award at the Sydney Boat Show today.

“We’re thrilled to be the inaugural winner of the Sustainability Award. Our team considers the environment in everything we do – from boat production to propulsion and from paperless operations to solar generation. It’s fantastic to be recognised, but we will keep innovating to continue leading the industry in this area.” Mr Tyrrell said.

GOBOAT’s commitment to sustainability and dedication to reducing the environmental impact of boating have resonated with a growing number of customers, particularly in younger demographics. More than 80,000 people have experienced GOBOAT’s innovative approach to sustainability so far this year, an increase of 34% on the same period last year.
