In March 2026, board your private GoBoat at 6:00am from the Kingston Foreshore and set sail at first light for a three-hour sunrise cruise. Canberra Balloon Spectacular - Corporate Package - Terms and Conditions

We've been part of the Balloon Spectacular for years, and we've learned a few things along with way! Please read the conditions below so you know exactly how this special event operates.

This is a special event and is ticketed separately to our normal booking platform. Gift cards, vouchers, and discounts cannot be used for this event.

Your ticket purchase will be processed and at least one week before your booking date, GoBoat crew will send you a confirmation email and an online waiver form for each guest to complete.

Demand for this event is huge each year, so we need to minimise late cancellations. Please check out cancellation policy below.

We can't control the weather (and neither can the balloons!). Even if the forecast looks poor, many guests prefer to wait until the morning to decide. Our crew work closely with the balloon festival organisers and will keep you informed.

If balloons do not take off, you can still enjoy your cruise (weather permitting) or opt for a credit the day before.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations of your ticket are possible for any reason for a full refund (less any booking/transaction fee) up to 14 days prior to the event. No refunds are possible within 14 days.

Cancellations between 14 and 7 days prior to the event will be issued a credit for use with GoBoat Canberra for the value of $449, valid for 12 months.

Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the ticket date will be issued a credit for use with GoBoat Canberra for the value of $399.

Credits/refunds cannot be offered for cancellations within 48 hours of the booking departure time. Cancellations must be made by email only to canberra@goboat.com.au

If the weather is safe but you decide not to board your boat on the day of your booking (due to the balloons not taking flight), the maximum rebooking credit will be $399.
